As long as it's not another Euston where a railway station was turned into a cross between a bus station and a toilet. I'm not sure where the extra platforms will go - I hear very loud alarm bells.

Default Best "Real Ale" Pubs in London

Not a long list of pubs and there's the usual lazy and insulting crap cliche in the strap line but it might amuse someone

"It’s hard to go wrong with any of Sam Smith’s pubs" ... well unless you want any real ale, which few of them do.

    Default Britain's toughest pub?

No-one seems to have put this pub on, much less reviewed it

It looked pretty rough when it was open (Google maps 2009, BL4 0NX). If we put it on, who would dare go to photograph it. Police would refuse an escort!

It looks a bit too posh for you Al.

Jesus, what a toilet. It's like something from Rab C. Nesbitt, on steroids! Definitely one for fearless Al methinks. If not, I'm sure we can cobble together a coded review between us:

'Staff are friendly and helpful'....They don't want to end up in intensive care.

'The pub regularly has a real fire'....Just a shame it's always outside and usually on the roof.

'The pub often has lock-ins'....It reminds patrons of their time inside Wormwood Scrubs and Wakefield.

'The pub has a wide selection of beers'....Unfortunately, none of them are bought on the premises. More brands of supermarket lager than you can shake a stick at.

    Any more?
'And where he supped the past lived still. And where he sipped the glass brimmed full' John Barleycorn, Carol Ann Duffy.
