I wonder why, but no. Especially given how many GK pubs I've drunk in over the last month+.

Need to pay me more than 99p to drink that stuff.

What Tim's mouthpiece actually said was:
"In contrast, draught products, more often consumed by older customers, have been under pressure, with traditional ales down by 30% and stout down by 20%, for example."

    So "down", but not "out".

Something that most of us with eyes and a functioning memory down south know full well - cask in terms of volume is in trouble, post (main) pandemic.

Specialist ale houses aren't too badly off, but most other places simply aren't turning it over and have cut back (and even then, they still aren't really selling). Maybe that is no bad thing in the long-run; cut out the shite.

Expect a load of smaller or poorly-run breweries to go bust in the next 18 months.

Doom and Pride have a virtual monopoly here, with a fair smattering of Landlord; I haven't seen a 'local' Truman's beer on for months.

Not seen trumans either which is strange as they have spent millions on a new brewery and a mega taproom in East London.

I think the big problem with cask sales is the older drinkers have broken the routine and are staying indoors.i have definitely cut down my pub visits due to the price and quality of the beers.not posted BTW for a few weeks as its always been jaipur that ends up best beer
