I wrote a long and detailed reply to Oldboots #67 but when I tried to send it, the bloody forum had logged me out and I lost the whole f***ing lot. This didn't used to happen - has anyone else had the same problem? It's happened to me on two different computers, so it's not my settings.

I went to Huddersfield for a bit of reconnaissance last Friday and found the Slubbers Arms not open at 12:15 and 12:45. WhatPub says they are open at 12, and I haven't been able to find any other info.

easy to miss out as it's on the edge of the area being further out than Magic Rock, perhaps it opens at 12 on Friday's but do we risk it?

It was Friday that I was there when it didn't open on time. I'd really like to do the Slubbers Arms. The beer may not be startlingly original, but it seems like an interesting pub from what I've read. In fact, I'd be much more interested in this one than in the Magic Rock Tap. I may give them a ring nearer the date and ask what time they're likely to open on November 18th.

I ended up at the Kings Head, which is a lot smarter than when I last visited, with an excellent beer range. If we start here, we might have to set back the times of arrival in later pubs, as it will take a while to get everyone to leave.

We may have that trouble in a number of places, especially The Grove and Rat & Ratchet and probably the Sportsman too, so I wouldn't over-worry about wild cards and reserves unless you're set on covering as many pubs as possible.

I've already ticked a few, so there's not so much pressure on me now! Looking forward to the Star and the Rat & Ratchet.

Yes.I have had loads of posts failing to get through when I do a long post.Last weeks long beer list for BOTW went missing and I cant be arsed doing it again.

I've lost comments a few times on the short-ish time-out. If I remember, I now type it up in Word then copy/paste to PuG.
I didn't do that for this post.

This is all on the wrong thread ,but why are everyone being timed out? doesn't happen to me unless I'm not logged in.
