A visit to Nottingham spent mainly in the mercifully air conditioned JDWs where the cellar therostats had been turned down to suit the weather.

Although copious amounts of Pale Rider were consumed the winner is the Pineapple Lodge. I feared that this would be some sort of sweet fruit based abomination but I'm not sure that any pineapples had even been used. It was bitter and very tasty at £2.15 in the excellent Roebuck JDW in Central Nottingham. The worst beer by miles was the Two By Two Mosaic in Beerhedz Nottingham which was unfined and while it had a good hop taste and aroma was sludge. It may be suitable for vegans but it wasn't fit for human consumption.
