I agree with this sentiment, quite happy with a revisit to any good pubs on the 38 route.

Totally agree. This is not a ticking exercise, but aiming for a good day out. I would therefore ask John not to worry if a few PuG regulars have already been to some of the pubs near the 38 bus route. Just pick the best pubs and we'll be there. (But please, not 50 of them!)

I should be there for 12.00 ish, will be in town earlier but will probably have a couple in the Harp beforehand, The Hamilton Hall is not particularly inspiring me.

    Default Next PuG pub crawl(s0

Okay so we are meeting at the Clapton Hart opens at 12.00.This area doesn't tent to do traditional cosy pubs more shabby chic but it is what it is. There are 4 keg only pubs between this and our next cask pub so I think we should do one keg only pub as on the 8th day God created craft beer. A few minutes walk takes us to the
Mermaid -Clarence rd (good selection of beers)
    5 mins on bus to
Adam and Eve homerton (interesting pub with usually 4 or 5 beers)
across the road is the Jackdaw and Star which we could go in but only if they have something worth drinking (check on the day)
5 mins walk back to the
Chesham arms (you will like this one)
5mins walk takes us to the
Cock Tavern this is highly rated by one and all so worth a stop if only to check out the beer garden!
5 mins on the bus to
Farrs School of Dancing (another Antic pub)
Slightly away from the bus route but less than 10 mins walk to the
Railway Tavern Ale House (well rated o
n this sight and should be good quality beer by all accounts.
we can then walk back 5 minutes to the
Duke of Wellington n1 (again usually good beer here)
There is not any pub on the Essex rd that I think is that great so 10 mins on the bus to Islington
We can change any of these pubs for others as there are plenty round here. A few new pubs for everyone up till know but these are more common but should be decent beer.We could do these 3.
    3 johns
    Craft beer Co
    Brewhouse and Kitchen
that's 11 or 12 if we need more I will suggest them
    cheers john

Is Hops & Glory worth stopping for?
