New pub visits 2022

Doing better lately. A productive few days around Buxton has put me up to 111. Off to Newcastle via Wakefield next week so I should net a few more.

Managed to chalk up 23 new visits in Wakefield & Newcastle so now up to 134.

Not a bad October with another 45 added. making 287 for the year to date. A one-a-day-average 365 might be achievable.

Finished the month on a round 200.

September was more productive than expected with new ticks in Richmond and Fitzrovia and a very enjoyable crawl around Colchester netting 22 new pubs and pushing the year to date total to 202.
That's my long term annual avarage,so the final quarter is pure bunce.Burton will bring a good few new ticks,really looking forward to it.

Burton and a little ticking around Croydon has pushed the year to end October total to 214,a record since I began to keep a record in 2013.

November will all be about Edinburgh ,which could be large.

... and so it proved with 29 new pubs in November,mainly Edinburgh.Year to date total of 243 and I may breast the 250 mark by year end.However that's a total I will struggle to match in the coming years,so is this a high watermark in my pub career ?

Reached my target of 500 for the year on 22nd October and have been taking it easy since then... visiting some reliable pubs in my home town instead.

...and hence only 15 new pubs in November, leaving me on 515 for the year. It's lucky that the train strikes are escalating now, and not when I still had a target to reach.

I saw some of your reviews when I was there last week. Having suggested it to you, I'm glad the Canny Man's was better for you than when I popped in last Friday. When I was there the only cask ale was a Christmas special!

I'm pretty sure I won't exceed this year's total in future. Apart from anything else I want to revisit places and pubs I know I like, rather than going to places I've never been and doing all the pubs, no matter how good or bad they are. But I'm happy to have done my "high watermark"!

Up to 144 after a day in Warwick. Not much planned this month in the run up to Christmas but I'll try to get to 150.
