Next week not much on the horizon.
"Good people drink good beer" Hunter S Thompson
Not much choice for me as everything near me is either Greene King, Fuller's or Young's but I managed a pint each of two trial brews this week:
Reunion Ales Minimalist
Reunion Ales Isotonic Gentleman's Sports Drink (4.7%).
The latter was quite interesting but wouldn't recommend drinking it before taking part in sporting activity, despite the name!
Reasonable week for me, with a couple of new pubs also bagged on a flying visit to Headingley.
Vocation - Chop & Change.
Ilkley - Pale.*
Ilkley - Crossroads IPA.*
Roosters - Parts & Labour.
Black Iris - Bajan Breakfast.
Bad Seed - Afterparty.
Black Iris - Divine Elements. (Keg)*
Two by Two - Pineapple & Mango Saison.*
North Riding - Citra.*
Townhouse - Barney's Stout.
Wild Weather - Seredipity.
Some interesting new beers sampled, but the winner is an old favourite. I love the flavour from the Chinook, Centennial and Nelson Sauvin hops in this beer. Sampled at Woodies
'And where he supped the past lived still. And where he sipped the glass brimmed full' John Barleycorn, Carol Ann Duffy.
Kent.Including a new pub!
Alechemy-Ritual PA-4.1%abv:Grassy hops,orange essence. A bit sweet. New brewery,though.
Angels and Demons-ADH-Me-5.2%abv:Tried this in 3 formats,today's-cask-was the best.Solid, dependable beer.
Larkin's-Traditional-3.4%abv: Not as mellow as I've come to expect.
My BOTW: Angels and Demons-ADH-Me. A fine APA style beer from a brewery that seems to be on top form, if one glosses over the whimsy on label or website.Taken at This Ancient Boro' ,reopened as a pub after 50 years a Chinese. I remember it as a pub, but was fourteen when it closed.

A small but varied selection:
Adnams Ghost Ship*
Brewhouse & Kitchen Braxator
Brewhouse & Kitchen Invarsity*

The Dragons Gold, as with so many of B&T's beers was a worthy contender for BABOTW but the Ghost Ship was deeply appreciated on a warm evening.
BOTW Brewhouse & Kitchen Invarsity. Never been to a B&K before so this IPA brewed in Bedford was a pleasant surprise.
