"Good people drink good beer" Hunter S Thompson
The Shipwrights Arms Recently reviewed on this site, though we've been several times over the years.A cracking proper pub, well worth the walk across the marshes from Faversham.
"At that moment I would have given a kingdom, not for champagne or hock and soda, or hot coffee but for a glass of beer" Marquess Curzon of Kedlestone, Viceroy of India.
We used to sail there many years ago, the only other way to get there in Winter was by Landrover when it was wet, but it was always worth it. If you asked for crisps you would be informed - bluntly - that this is a pub, not a restaurant. Haven't been there for a while now but hope to review it some time this year.
'Beer is for all day, not just for breakfast'.
Very hard to decide between these three:
