A pub is for life not just for Christmas
I'll start this off as I'm not going out tonight. I'm going completely left field this time with the Kinver Constitutional Club. You can get in with a CAMRA card and this time I was just asked to sign the guest book by the barmaid. Only 17 of the 18 hand pumps were on but they were all from the West Midlands or Welsh borders. It's not necessarily cheap for non members with Sarah Hughes Snowflake at £5.22 and Hobson's Postman's Plum Porter at £3.55 but the Kinver Noble was £2.95. I'll be back again next December along with a return to the Stourbridge Batham's pub.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I liked the Vibrancy, good service and of course the beer,

So different from most of this chain,a pub atmosphere and always seems calm given it's tucked away from the hot spots around Angel tube.Common to the rest of the chain, excellent ale .

This pub Surrey Oaks did it for me this month.Humming on a Friday night with drinkers and feasters, with the added benefit of a Winter beer fest. Some excellent beer, and I'll forgive the (for me) undrinkable Titanic Plum Porter Grand Reserve. That rare thing, a proper pub in Surrey.
