None of these were poor and there are several contenders so "When in doubt go for the strongest.", so it's the Sarah Hughes Snowflake in the famous Sedgley Beacon Hotel. It was £4.00 for the two halves that were duly transferred to a straight pint glass. One of several proper Xmas drinks.

Larkins-Porter 5.2%abv:My first sighting of this iconic Porter this year.Roasty,bitter chocolate (mercifully no salted caramel ).
Whitstable-East India Pale Ale 4.1%abv:Pale and grainy.Not at the peak of condition.

A fairly pedestrian week for me with Anarchy Boot Boys 5% tried a couple of times in the Flying Horse Hotel the winner.
