Finally got a new batch to choose from, with last week's jaunt to Hull. With an honourable mention for The George Hotel, my favourite was The Whalebone an old fashioned back street pub, a short stroll from the city centre. A great choice of beer on the stumps and a cracking atmosphere when we called on a Saturday teatime.
