A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Red Squirrel Brewery Shop, Berkamsted.
Another very good micro, this one run by the Red Squirrel brewery and featuring many of their beers.
The Hole In The Wall .
Great beer, great little boozer.
"Everybody's got to believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer."

Not to everyone's taste, but this pub Globe Inn Marsh , once the pub of a thousand policemens, and suffering frequent changes of ownership , has been taken in hand by an eclectic small local chain. My, was it busy!
"At that moment I would have given a kingdom, not for champagne or hock and soda, or hot coffee but for a glass of beer" Marquess Curzon of Kedlestone, Viceroy of India.
It's not every month that you feel compelled to abandon a bus journey because you unexpectedly (as in not doing your homework properly) see a previously unvisited Batham's pub as you go past, so it has to be the Britannia in Upper Gornal (and, in particular, the back bar thereof).
I'm spoilt for choice this month with this, the Oakengates Golden Triangle, this, this, this and this. That doesn't even include two previous winners the Great Western in Wolverhampton and Codsall Station.
The Market Vaults in Tamworth just edges it but it could be any of them.
POTM Market Vaults
Like Aqualung, I've been to Wellington. Shame we didn't coord.
The Pheasant
The Kings Arms
One not to miss in Tring,it has changed hands for the better and is still a great back street boozer full of character and characters.
"Good people drink good beer" Hunter S Thompson
No stand-outs last month, but in terms of beer quality and "ambulance" (as my old man would say), it'll have to be The Kew Gardens Hotel.
"Breakneck speed we drown ten pints of bitter"
'I only drink on two occasions, when I'm thirsty and when I'm not'
