A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Came across The George by chance on a walk from Canary Wharf towards the Greenwich foot tunnel; and much to my surprise, this becomes my pub of the month.
The Turks Head
An easy winner this month, an excellent pub this one.
Not expecting much from my Soho visit, but liked this very much. The Old Coffee House, BOTM.

My pub for December is one I returned to only two weeks after visiting in November, it's the Britannia in Upper Gornal. Although it's not one of the original eight Batham's houses it is the same as their classic ones, a small bar with a mosaic tiled floor and various small rooms all interconnectced. Why are pubs down Sarf so boring compared to this?
POTM The Britannia Upper Gornal
The Old Fountain
I always find some very interesting ales in here in excellent condition ,and although it is busy straight afterwork,it does seem to calm down quite quickly allowing you to savour your pint(s).
I always try to get here at least once every year.
"Good people drink good beer" Hunter S Thompson
A quiet month but I enjoyed a visit to The Seven Stars in Rugby.
My pub of the month for December goes to The Crown a really nice warm pub on a cold day with a decent drink on the bar.
We are all equal, but some are more equal than others
The Fighting Cock
A real survivor surrounded by an area that reminds me of Kelham Island in the 90's.
