A pub is for life not just for Christmas
The Black Lion in Leighton Buzzard.
A toss up between The Fox and Williams Ale And Cider House,
by a short nose its Williams Ale And Cider House

Leslies Bar as good as ever well worth the short trip from the city centre
"Do I know where hell is? hell is in hello"
The Black Lion in Leighton Buzzard has already got a nomination, and likewise Moby has also identified Williams Ale and Cider House which was the best pub I visited on the London crawl,so POTM goes to
The Jolly Waggoner
March is going to be interesting Warwick ,Leamington and then the Worcester PuG crawl should give lots of options.

It's been a thin two months for pubs and beer, but this new business gets my vote:Fuggles Beer Cafe (Fuggles Beer Cafe in Tunbridge Wells), a rare craft outlet in Kent.
"At that moment I would have given a kingdom, not for champagne or hock and soda, or hot coffee but for a glass of beer" Marquess Curzon of Kedlestone, Viceroy of India.
My for pub of the month for February goes to The Coborn Arms this is a really pleasant pub that i could have settled in for a good while, the Youngs bitter was also top notch.
Really enjoyed this one The Star & Garter an excellent pub. Also very worthy was this one Inn Beer Shop
but this one gets my POTM for the stunning interior and friendly welcome Black Horse Hotel

This month I'm plumping for the King's Head (Station Tavern) housed in Huddersfield station. I suspect even with the much vaunted refurb it's never going to be The Barton Arms, Aston. However, as a basic alehouse it has few betters. Recent visits have seen beer in tip top nick and very good value to boot - Magic Rock Ringmaster, £2.50.
