That road seems to have lost a lot of pubs in 0.3 of a mile.

The pub has gone now, but the building in the background remains.
Now i am back at work, i had a quick look through the old Staffs directories. I looked for a R&C near Dudley way, which had a school nearby. One came up that looked promising - the R&C, at 114 Bromley, Pensnett - junction with Dell Rd (see map and drag the gold bloke to that part of the road). It also appears it became a Hanson's house in 1934. A house is there today, but the church appears in the background still - would value other opinions. .

Hi there Alan,
I have started adding lost pubs from the Cradley Heath area. Time consuming work !! I have added 3 so far - The Royal Oak, The Vine and the Corngreaves.
With any luck you will have some photos to add to them.
Right back to it !!!
Del.

Now added the Vine and Railway and the Swan with 2 Necks.

No problem, Al - All I would ask is that when you and Del put the lost pubs on you add a comment to say that they have now been demolished - or some muppet of a Soup Dragon will go looking for them if they are just marked as closed!

Hi Del,
I am still getting negatives put onto disc, which is a costly and time consuming thing to do once on disc,i have to hyper link them to my pub list.
Ime not sure that i will have photo's of all the pubs you put on the site and some of the pubs that i have got photo's of are not yet on disc,so i will be unable to add the photo's to the site.
Just thought i would let you know.

As you know I am not a big reviewer but I have been writing a short piece with each one I have added stating whether it is demolished or converted etc....
Although it would be more fun to add a load to an area you have done and make you go again !!
Anyway I shouldn't be speaking to you ...... you went in a Cafe Rouge !!
Shame on you

I think it's Sandy Bells in Edinburgh
Google streetview https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=EH1...12,244.11,,0,0
Seems like they extended the pavement and added some trees.
