A pub is for life not just for Christmas
The Kings Head Really enjoyed this pub on the PG Crawl, a comfy pub that I look forward to visiting again on my next visit to Leicester - great choice of ales - a proper pub! I can't forget to mention the excellent cobs too.

Really enjoyed many pubs on the Leicester crawl and back there next week on the boat,so a chance to spend a little longer at some of the best. However POTM goes to The Wharf Inn,Welford ,an earthy canalside pub with a very friendly welcome and good food.

Leicester had a few good pubs and my first visit to the Pheonix in York impressed but an outstanding pub is The Fighting Cock another first visit but surely not my last.
I really enjoyed the Salmon on the PUG Leicester trip, a good boozer and my POTM.

Chorlton cum Hardy is now a cracking beer destination although most places are bars rather than pubs.
My POTM is going to be The Beagle a great bar with loads of beer choice.
It just beat Jackalope and Oddest
There's a new bar called Font opened since I was there and there are several places that I didn't get to like Jam Cafe, Nip & Tuck, De Nada.............
A return visit is on the cards very soon.

My pub of the month for March goes to Fox Inn a really nice pub that is worth a visit along with Unicorn Inn which is also in Lutterworth.
Unfortunately there has been some confusion between this pub's entry and the real entry for the Kings Head, which is this one. I've reported this on That Doesn't Go There! (and so has Gann) but it's not been actioned by Admin yet. Your review and Quinno's photos are both on the wrong pub!
