Very quiet week for me, ironically drinking more wine than beer in the hottest week of the year, so far. Only tried two:
Navigation - Golden.
Fernandes - Great Northern.
Much preferred the Great Northern.

'And where he supped the past lived still. And where he sipped the glass brimmed full' John Barleycorn, Carol Ann Duffy.
Only had a few Pints of Ale last week That was
Leeds Jubilee IPA
Nethergate Old Growler
Redemption Pail Ale
Redemption Trinity
And a few other non descript Pints of special brewed ales for the Jubilee were nothing special.
For Beer of the week I will go for the Redemption Pail Ale.
Don't You just hate Pubs that say
( We don't stock any Real Ales as theres Just no call for it.)
Not that great a week for beer really. Even some of the beer in the Baum wasn't to my taste.
Titanic Cappucinno was interesting in The City Arms in Manchester tasting of coffee and chocolate as you might expect.
Ilkley Mary Hoppins was pretty good in The Baum.
But BOTW is going to be Buxton Bank Top tried in The Waterhouse in Manchester. Only 3.6%, but light and hoppy and very thirst quenching.
Just right for the hot, sticky evening that was Saturday.
A pub is for life not just for Christmas
I didn't get out much last week, except for the Carshalton get together, so my BOTW is the stand out pint from that crawl - Summer Wine Resistance.
