A pub is for life not just for Christmas
This week:
Adnams Ghost Ship
Titanic Plum Porter*
Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Phipps Gold Star*
BOTW Phipps Gold Star which, unwisely at 5%, whistled through the 3 pint test. I'm yet to find a better beer brewed in Northamptonshire.
"Beer is food." Morse, Colin Dexter

A trip to Leeds on Friday, followed by Stockton Calling on Saturday.
Kent:
Three Acre IPA 5%abv.Resinous hops, cane fruit. My BOTW.
"At that moment I would have given a kingdom, not for champagne or hock and soda, or hot coffee but for a glass of beer" Marquess Curzon of Kedlestone, Viceroy of India.

'And where he supped the past lived still. And where he sipped the glass brimmed full' John Barleycorn, Carol Ann Duffy.
Another poor week, overdosing on the Neck Oil through exploring the pubs of SW London, with the Young's monopoly of London Original and Special and no Proper Job sarf of the river. So:
Adnams - Ghost Ship **½
Adnams - Southwold Jester **½
Exmoor - Beast **½
Harvey’s - Sussex Best **½
Twickenham - Naked Ladies **½
Volden - Pale **½
BOTW goes to Big Hug Brewing - Pave the Way **¾ at The Crown & Anchor
