Just 3/12 for me (must try harder), although I should be able to knock off the Basketmakers and the Ypres Castle in June as I'll be down that way.

As most of these lists are very London-centric, it's time to redress the balance:

As you'd expect,16/20, for me. The ones I haven't done tend to be out in the sticks. I've a particular fondness for The Fenton. Back in the early 90s our flat was a mere five minutes walk away. It was not uncommon to go out at 10pm, for last orders. These days, it's more likely to be the news headlines and a cup of camomile tea!

8/12 for me
The Bell Inn, Aldworth
The Oxford Bar, Edinburgh
Southampton Arms, North London
Ypres Inn, Rye
Pride of Spitalfields, east London
Basketmakers, Brighton
The Magnet, Stockport
Sunflower, Belfast
All the others are on my long-term hit list!

On leaving the bar, I felt a strong blow to the back of my head. Turning round, I discovered it was the pavement
