A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Some very good beer this week despite missing out on Norwich.
Just two different pubs visited this week, The first three beers from the Waggon & Horses and everything else from The Alfred over three seperate visits.
Oakham The Hare And The Hedgehog
Flowerpots Perridge Pale
Ossett Butterley*
Bowland Bumble*
Bowland Boxer Blonde
Dark Reveloutions Hey Girl*
Brew York York-E*
Elusive /Burning Sky Day By Day*
Vocation/Vault City Banana Cookie Dough Cheesecake Stout*
Beak/Deya Crocco*
Thornbridge Astryd*
Brunswick Pick 'N' Mix
Acorn Blonde
Vibrant Forest Cambrian Root*
Vibrant Forest Altitudes* (keg)
The Kernel Export Stout London 1890* (keg)
Burnt Mill Little Thaw* (keg)
Some excellent cask beer on the list, yet the three keg beers at the bottom, all enjoyed this afternoon, were exceptional and hard to split, but if pushed I'll go with The Kernel Export Stout, £5.80 for two thirds but well worth it for a beautifully put together 7.4% beer.

Thornbridge Jaipur IPA*
Loddon Dragonfly
XT Animal Bush Viper*
Titanic Plum Porter*
Titanic White Star*
XT Animal Katydid
Kent Tropic Ale

All starred were worthy of BOTW with the Gongoozler Stout especially good. BOTW Blue Monkey Infinity +1 against stiff competition but it's just ridiculously drinkable.

Finally made it to the pub, this week. Just the 'Merrie City', as usual.

A close call this week, between the Amarillo, Gorlovka and Wake Up Bomb. The Chin Chin just snatches it. An easy drinking pale beer made with El Dorado, Mosaic and Azzaco Hops. Taken in Luis Bar @ Fernandes.
