Another decent week for me.

The Thousand Yard Stare (5.4%) and White Hawk (4.3%) were my favourite pair, this week. Not much between them, so, as usual, I'll give the honours to the weaker beer. Sampled in Luis Bar @ Fernandes.

Mad Squirrel Extra Squirrely Bitter*
Arbor Magic Mountain IPA*
Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Adnams Ghost Ship*
Barshams Golden Close IPA*
Not a bad one amongst them and it's a close call between the ESB and Magic Mountain IPA. The Mad Squirrel Extra Squirrely Bitter just shades BOTW. A well executed, smooth and moorish 5% ESB.
"Beer is food." Morse, Colin Dexter
Abbeydale Black Mass, at Wellingborough's excellent Little Ale House
Surprised to now notice it listed as a black IPA, I thought it looked and tasted like a stout, liked it anyway and a very splendid little visit to this friendly micro.
