A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Coach & Horses
A revisit after many years,it wasn't busy so I could appreciate the 30's interior, rightly listed by CAMRA. Also pleasing to see a Fullers house that also carries a number of guest ales (like the Harp and Olde Mitre) which leads to both an authentic pub experience and interesting beer options...........both rare in central London.
"Good people drink good beer" Hunter S Thompson
A long weekend in East Anglia provided a number of fine pubs, the finest of which being The Compasses Inn
"At that moment I would have given a kingdom, not for champagne or hock and soda, or hot coffee but for a glass of beer" Marquess Curzon of Kedlestone, Viceroy of India.
This past month has to go to The Star.
"Everybody's got to believe in something. I believe I'll have another beer."
