Very close this week so top five in order are
1. Sam Smiths Export Stout, standard keg offering but reliable, solid and... Stout. BOTW in pleasant surroundings in The Royal George.
2. Thornbridge Gold , didn't know this beer existed, a subtle Golden Mild in The Ten Tun Taphouse.
3. Thornbridge Jaipur X, an Imperial IPA version of the classic at 10.0%, plenty of "poke" in The Shirkers Rest.
4. Wylam Jakehead, another beer with a punch in Mother Kellys.
5. Disruption Battle Royale Bru-1 (cask), good in both formats in The Alfred.

North Riding - Mosaic.
Tigertops - Euro Hop.
North Riding - Porter.
Mallinsons - Rakau.
Roosters - Accomplice.
Not much to quicken the pulse, for one reason or another. The Accomplice was the best of an indifferent bunch. Taken at Harry's Bar
