Not a brilliant week sadly but at least it was fairly consistent, the only real disappointments being a duff Wandle in the Lord Clyde and a rancid half of N7 in Farr's School of Dancing; all but one on cask:
Adnams - Ghost Ship **
Dark Star - Hophead **½
Five Points - Best **
Five Points - Railway Porter **
Five Points - XPA **
Hammerton's - N7
Nomadic Beers - War on Wisdom **
Northdown - Bitter Seas **
Oakham - Scarlet Macaw **½
Purity - Mad Goose **½
Redemption - Big Chief **½
Redemption - Hopspur **½
Ringwood - Boon Doggle **
Sambrook's - Wandle
Samuel Smith's - Extra Stout **
Siren - Memento ½
Timothy Taylor - Landlord **
Twickenham - Naked Ladies **
Twisted Wheel - Sunday Sessions **
Youngs - Special *½
BOTW (and not by much) - goes to Bedlam - Amagansett *** at The Mayflower.
Better week with Coventry featuring heavily:
Pomona Island Poor Moon
Byatts Karma Rama*
Two by Two Porter*
Phipps Steam Roller*
Marstons Wainwright
Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Enjoyed the porter even though it was a touch sweet. BOTW Phipps Steam Roller. I've found Phipps beers a bit hit and miss but this one was very good. In appearance it's a boring, brown beer but tasty, almost briny and it flew down.
