A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Just the six and all new:
The Army & Navy
The Clapton Hart
Marquis Of Lansdowne
The Old Ship
The Three Compasses
The White Hart
The Clapton Hart - POTM
Marquis of Lansdowne - SPOTY*
*Shite Pub of the Year.
Preston - The Moorbrook
Still the same great choice of ale and quirky garden. Runners up being the same city's Winckley Square Ale House, The Old Vic, and Twelve Tellers Wetherspoons.
Haven't been out much in Stockton as the weather means it's been more pleasant to sit by the river finishing my can stock, cheaper and no mask idiocy to contend.
Lichfield this weekend, Eaglescliffe & Yarm in a couple of weeks.
Ye Hole In Ye Wall - first visit since last January and almost forgot how cosy and friendly it is. Six good ales in a side street pub is not to be sniffed at in these times either.
