Theres a Man with a Mullet going Mad with a Mallet in Millets !
A better week for drinking this week, my BOTW is without parallel this week - Derventio Anubius drunk in the Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool - a pub Sans Pareil, but then I didn't get to Manchester this week .
(There might be a prize here if anyone gets the allusions).
I would say my best Beer this week was Okells Alt 5% At the Wetherspoons festival. It was a hard choice between The Okells Alt & few others but the Okells was definitely my favourite.
Don't You just hate Pubs that say
( We don't stock any Real Ales as theres Just no call for it.)
The 17 I had at the Bexley Beer Festival all seemed to run into each other so nothing particularly stood out and I have had a disatrous week in Wetherspoons since the festival started. Had a couple of decent ales in Kingston on Saturday but I think I will go for the Fremlins Bitter brewed by Shepherd Neame, simply because it far surpassed what I was expecting.
I've not found a great deal to excite me at the 'Spoon's festival either (I hated the Zulu Blonde - Hoppy's description sounds so different to what I tried that I wonder if I was given the right beer).
My BOTW goes to Westerham British Bulldog, which was the pick of the beers still on offer towards the end of the Green Dragon's Spring Beer Festival in Croydon.

At the eleventh hour, Rivet Catcher is knocked from its perch by the stunning Motueka by Arbor Ales. My beer of the week.
Bit of a boring week for me, but I will opt for the Barn Owl I tried which was at least a little different.
I'll go for the Oakhams Rollercoaster as my favourite of the 3 I managed to tick off at JDW last week.
The Amber Rambler was a close runner up for me but was a little disappointed with the Titanic Tomahawk.
