A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Ilkeston and Long Eaton
Wiper & True -- Light Pale Ale (c)
BrewDog -- Elvis Juice (b)
BrewDog -- Dead Pony Club (c)
Marble -- Dobber IPA * (c)
Castle Rock -- Elsie Mo *
Tiny Rebel --Cwtch
Salopian -- Lemon Dream
Shipstones -- Original *
Shipstones -- MILD *
Scribblers -- Life of IPA
Oakham -- Green Devil IPA *
Decent list and both Shippos beers were memorable but BOTW goes to Oakham Green Devil IPA,which needs to be treated with respect,in the wonderfully traditional Hole in the Wall.
Next week ,a few days in Shropshire on cultural persuits but maybe time for some crafty pints.
"Good people drink good beer" Hunter S Thompson
Roosters - Baby Faced Assassin
York - Guzzler
Rudgate - Ruby Mild
Brass Castle - Roxy
Brass Castle - Quench
Wishbone - Abyss
Bad Seed - Stage Hand
Arbor / Red Willow -Citrus Maximus
Arbor - C- Bomb
Brass Castle - Bad Kitty
BOTW Brass Castle - Roxy, Wishbone Abyss was very good too however Bad Kitty has suffered a recipe change and is unlikely to be BOTW again.
All within a 20 mile radius of home but more pub visits than intended this week, such is life.
Flowerpots Perridge Pale*
Hogs Back TEA
Elgoods Lighter Shade Of Ale
Milestone Maid Marion
Milestone Azacca Gold
St Peters Ruby Red*
Goffs White Knight
Settle Jericho Blonde
Kent Prohibition*
Bristol Beer Factory Milk Stout*
The Kent Prohibition and BBF Milk Stout were excellent Sunday afternoon in The Wonston Arms, however BOTW goes to St Peters Ruby Red, not a style of beer I normally go for but tried on the strength of the brewer, not that common round these parts, It was outstanding in The Alfred over a couple of visits.
Various East Sussex towns should will hopefully provide some different beers in the second half of this week, I may possibly even cross into Kent.

"At that moment I would have given a kingdom, not for champagne or hock and soda, or hot coffee but for a glass of beer" Marquess Curzon of Kedlestone, Viceroy of India.
Cameron's Road Crew. Five pints had in the Stockton Wetherspoons.
Hammerton's Panama Creature - OBOTW.
Better week:
Castle Rock Elsie Mo*
Tiny Rebel Cwtch*
Shipstones Original Bitter*
Oakham Green Devil IPA*
Everards Tiger
Purity Longhorn IPA (keg)
Everards Old Original*
Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Enjoyed the Old Original but BOTW goes to Shipstones Original. A very good example of a 3.8% BBB with plenty of flavour and a bitter finish which saw it slip through the 3 pint test.
