I don't think anyone has actually said no to that date. Quinno said the earlier the better for him, and I did point out that it's the start of school holidays, so there may be some pressure on train tickets, but other than that it seems to be the date with fewest objections.
A quick decision would be good as some advance tickets are already up for that date.

That would have been on my return from Nottingham and that long tedious walk through St Pancras. It was a rubbish journey as well with my booked train was cancelled.
