A pub is for life not just for Christmas
Kent;one welcome,if unplanned visit.
Welton's:Topper Mild 4%abv. I've always avoided Welton's beers as I thought they were iffy. However, recourse to my records shows that I'd never tried them.Institutional prejudice or what? A so-so Dark Mild with some rough edges.

The Signal beer came out of the blue in the Wanstead George. According to the GBG Signal do not produce real ale but this was served from a clipped hand pump at the regular price. It was quite unexceptional.
The best was the Oakham Citra at £2.09 in the Walnut Tree JDW.
