A pub is for life not just for Christmas
A very modest week in Petersham and Krakow.
Heineken -- Lager (keg)
Zywiec -- Porter * (keg)
Ksiazece -- Wheat Beer (keg)
Okocim -- Lager (keg)
BOTW goes to a very tasty and pokey (9.5%) Zywiec Porter on draught in Ulica Krokodyli,Szeroka 30,a pub like bar in the Jewish Quarter.
Next week gentle boating through Stone to Etruria.

Hertfordshire,Kent:
Parkway-Big Ben's APA 4.3%abv:Sweetish,not very exciting.
Tring-Side Pocket for a Toad 3.6%abv: Nettley,reliable Bitter.I'm surprised I hadn't tried this before.
Kent -Prohibition 4.8%abv:Thundering APA.
As Prohibition has been lauded frequently,my BOTW is Side Pocket for a Toad, taken at The Brocket Arms
"At that moment I would have given a kingdom, not for champagne or hock and soda, or hot coffee but for a glass of beer" Marquess Curzon of Kedlestone, Viceroy of India.
This week:
Oakham Bishops Farewell*
Severn Valley Golden IPA
Purity Longhorn IPA (keg)*
Mill Valley Fudge*
Titanic Plum Porter*
BOTW Mill Valley Brewery Fudge. A fudgy stout but with enough roasted bitterness to offset the sweetness.
"Beer is food." Morse, Colin Dexter
Mixed quality this week,
Flowerpots Perridge Pale
Three Castles Mocha Mild
Wantsum Olicana
Milestone Loxley
Hogs Back TEA
Oakham Citra
Surrey Hills Shere Drop
Surrey Hills Collusion X111
Bowmans Eldorado
Downton Quadhop
Fyne Ales Vital Spark
Allendale Wagtail
Peerless Full Wack
Firebird Work Ethic
Phoenix Arizona
Cloudwater Take It From The Top
Tiny Rebel Stay Puffed
Kent Key Lime Rye
The last three beers in the list were all enjoyed in The Albion, and all spot on, however BOTW is Surrey Hills Collusion X111 lovely beer taken at the Kingston Beer Festival, unfortunately five of the eight beers tried there were flat and listless, not a good advert for cask beer at all, the three good ones were though very good, (all the highest ABV).

ELB Foundation Bitter 4.2%
Windsor & Eton Eton Boatman 4.3%
ELB Nightwatchman 4.5%
Reunion Beardtongue 4.5%
Redemption Urban Dusk 4.6%
