I should be arriving by coach in Birmingham in the late morning. Will probably go in search of food before making my way to the Welly by midday, possibly a bit earlier if my transport runs to time.

I have taken an extract from the timetable I gave to the coach company. Hopefully it is easy to follow:

    Wellington 37 Bennett's Hill, Birmingham B2 5SN Leave at 12.30
Waterfall 132 Waterfall Lane, Cradley Heath B64 6RG Arrive 12:50:00
Windsor Castle 7 Stourbridge Road, Lye DY9 7DG Arrive 13:50:00
Vine 10 Delph Road, Brierley Hill DY5 2TN Arrive 14:45:00
Old Swan 89 Halesowen Road, Netherton DY2 9PY Arrive 15:45:00
Fountain 8 Temple Street, Lower Gornal DY3 2PE Arrive 16:45:00
Beacon Hotel 129 Bilston Street, Sedgley DY3 1JE Arrive 17:40:00
Great Western Sun Street, Wolverhampton WV10 0DJ Arrive 18:40:00

The 25 seat midi coach is 'poorly' at the moment so Richard the coach company owner is sending a full size coach instead because there are too many of us for a minibus. Richard also advised me today that the cost is £16 per head. Hope that's OK with everyone.

If anyone wants my mobile number just in case then just PM me.

Sounds good to me. Do we make our own way back to Brum from the last pub in Wolverhampton or does the coach take us back? It's only £2 and about 15 mins on the train so it's no big deal either way.

The coach just drops us off at the Great Western (which is next to the railway station) and then he goes so you're free to spend as long as you like there.

I spotted the itinerary on Roger's Facebook page and am feeling a bit sorry that i didn't sign up for this one. It's probably for the best though as i am still recovering from a horrible cold.

Hope it's a great day and that everyone negotiates it safely if not soberly !!

Millay, Black Country ale has medicinal properties.

Just a reminder to Real Ale Ray, Del Boy and Soup Dragon that on page 6 of this thread Soup Dragon promised to buy beers for the birthday boys (that's anyone with a birthday within 7 days of the event)

I've just noticed a terrible error on my birth certificate, it says September when it should say October, would you believe it?

Yes. I can tell you're also a Libra. You're a well balanced sort.

If you re-read the post though it says that the eldest one of the birthday boys has to buy the beer. Should your birth certificate also say 1968?
