A poor show compared with Roger and others.
I've surprised myself by visiting 226 new (to me) pubs this year, including the final six on a visit to Denby Dale today. It had never occurred to me to count this sort of thing before, but once I started I put them on a spreadsheet rather than in a pocket.

...OK, so you keep it on a spreadsheet too!

Looks as if I'll have done 38 new 'uns this year. We do tend to return to pubs we like, and we are not exactly blessed with numerous pubs and public transport in our neck of the woods.Good fun all the same!

Well done Roger. That's a highly impressive total.

I slowed down in December, but managed to clock up 255 new pubs in total. Big crawls in Sheffield, Nottingham and Brighton plus a couple of days in Liverpool with the PUG crew helped me finish well above my target of 150. I've already got trips to Wigan, York and Hartlepool planned for January, so it looks like I'll be picking up where I left off in the New Year.

Congratulations to you hardy souls. I managed 62 pubs, including 38 new 'uns, in 91 visits. Lightweight.

This may well be the final total unless something unusual happens before 1st Jan as we're not planning any trips out to new pastures.
And 132 was indeed the final score.

My target was to have reviewed 1000 pubs on PuG by the end of the year.

    Epic Fail!!!

Once I've added the few reviews I've got left to do I will have done over 1000 reviews.

    However, only 986 pubs.

Oh well 1000 should be an easy target for 2013.

I think I have visited 84 new pubs in 2012. I am totally amazed by that figure, although I have been to a few new places this year.

Will keep a better record of them for 2013.

I haven't the foggiest how many new pubs I've actually visited during the year, though thanks to OCD my spreadsheet tells me I've posted reviews of 81 duringthe year, of which 72 were new to me. I promise to try harder next year!

It surprised me to see that only 26 of my 81 had already been reviewed by anyof our regular reviewers, although I'm sure this is in part because I pass overreviewing quite a lot where I have nothing to add to what's already been said.

On the plus side I'm sure I've drunk more alcohol than Old Boots, though Iwould probably have to dissect my own liver to be able to prove it.

Just banged out the reviews from my last trip ,so that makes 208 new ones for 2012,far more that I would have thought possible a year ago.

I would be pleased to break 800 reviews by the end of 2013,no rest for the wicked.

I managed to do 205 new pubs for me in 2012,this is an improvement on 2011 but still a bit dissapointing.

My record amount of new pubs visited in one year was 982 in 1983 all pubs were written down with date and what brewery was running it,those were the days.

183 new pubs this year, and 216 reviews on hereincluding 9 in the Channel Islands which appear in the forum but not the main site.

I think this 2013's target is to top 800 main site reviews, rather than just worry about new pubs.
