In my younger days The Beerhunter was a game (derived of course from the movie The Deerhunter) wherein the contestants were each issued with a tin of beer. At the command of the chairman each contestant was required to hold his can as close as possible to his ear and open the ringpull. This was in the knowledge that just one of the cans had been given a vigorous shaking by the chairman's assistant. The winner of the round was the one showered in beer and then everyone else drank theirs. The game was considered over when the entire group was either soaked in beer or had been locked up.
