They were indeed all still there. But after visiting I don't think a couple will be for much longer, they need putting out of their misery.
A pub is for life not just for Christmas

Given that my meeting is just around the corner I expect Whitefriars for lunch will be the order of the day! Cheers.

Did a couple of new ones in Sheffield over the weekend. Red Lion, and Rutland Arms, both of which had some very tasty Abbeydale brew's on. I had too many to remember their names though! I've been to Sheffield around 15 times now and still not made it up to the Kelham Island area, that's how good the town is for beer.

That doesn't sound very good. Hope you're ok and It's not too serious.

Just back from Newquay/Padstow - 16 new pubs (I think) in the last 4 days so I reckon I'm now 2 or 3 ahead of my New Pub A Day target.

Just had a count up - 24 new pubs this year so far.

Currently on the train back from Waverley, having encounted (so to speak) a few 'virgins' in Edinburgh and Glasgow in addition to some of the usual suspects...

I was doing the same last week (in Glasgow anyway) - we must have missed each other by no more than a few pints.

That's impressive, there could be a long list under Liverpool in March to keep up the momentum.
