Bumping this one to bring Greater Anglia's £8 promotion to the attention of London and South-East based pub-reviewers.
Between 6th August and 11th November, there will be an extra 8,800 £8 one way seats available each week for one way for Advance Purchase routes on the Norwich to London Intercity service.
Keeping breweries in business for more than 40() years
I have an abundance of ammual leave to use up so I'm up for another Fri day out if anyone else is. There was plenty we missed out on last time round, plenty worth returning to and this time we'll might even get to the Castle when it's open!
I just checked for, say, 23Nov and the £8 ew option is still available then (beyond the original parameters above).
Also note the availability of groupsave (4-4-2) which would bring an open rtn for a group of 4 down to £23pp. Unfortunately groupsave doesn't seem to apply to the £8 tkts!
I had a look at the 16th and the £8 options were there (ie £16 return). I don't actually have many Fridays available this side of Xmas!
I am in Norwch at the moment, and have managed quite a few Good Beer Guide pubs. Have tomorrow to enjoy too.

Alcohol doesn't solve problems .... but then again, neither does milk.
