Crushed potatoes is another idiotic cheffy thing, it's simply lumpy mashed potatoes.

Errrm, I did crushed baby potatoes with gammon for our dinner on Saturday.

When done with butter and white pepper it tastes different to either whole baby potatoes or mash.

    You Sir, are a Scoundrel

There is no such thing as "Baby potatoes"

There are small potatoes and there are new potatoes

What you served was lumpy, mashed, small potatoes

When the pub has a fantastic unspoilt Victorian tiled bar and you have to ask to drink in there because the landlady can not understand why anyone would want to drink in there and not in the bland modern lounge , thats here Bulls Head
