Default British Guild of Beer Writers

I didn't know such an organisation exists.

They held their beer writers banquet last night at which they presented their Beer Writer of the Year Award

Surely we could give them a run for their money!

You can join for £40 per year and take part in activities which include visits to breweries and seminars on all aspects of the brewing industry. Sounds like a bargain. The Guild Members list looks interesting. Any nominations for Official PG writer?

well of course, but John Bonser might also be a candidate as might several others whose reviews are widely respected amongst us. I say that having read the list of members and the bar is pretty high with Martyn Cornell and Ron Pattinson there.

I don't know how you do it hondo, you take me through a gamut of emotions with your reviews - laconic, but poetry. I can almost picture the multi-coloured walled decor, with white ceiling and loud carpet, along with twigs in vases for decoration. I can simply tell that there was no MILD either. I am moved to tears.
