I was also in the Pineapple on Wednesday last week, and I see there's a review from each of you the next day, so I've obviously just missed you again! The Kent Cob Nut was good but the Bass was undistinguished.
Having moored up at Camden Lock and not fancied The Ice Wharf we got a bus to the Southampton Arms with the stop conveniently placed right in front of the door. We pushed off around 9pm so that must have been close, and then went to The Pineapple before a cheap and very tasty tapas style Indian nearby, sadly unlicensed.

Had some good Ales this week as I was off long weekend. Below is the Best of some.

    G/K Abbot Reserve
    Thornbridge Jaipur IPA
    Bellhaven Frosty Bells
    Daleside Christmas Cracker
    Everards Sleighbell
    Batemans Rosy Nosey
    Elgoods Snickalmas
    Ringwood Old Thumper
    York Brewery Centurions Ghost Ale
    York Brewery Guzzler
    York Brewery Yorkshire Terrier
    Wychwood Hobgoblin

For beer of the week is York Brewery Centurions Ghost Ale One of the best pins of the weekend. Others were very good though.

Not a bad week, with quite a few old favourites being drunk. Not many of the previously untried beers impressed though, infact one was so awful I've nominated it for BABOTW. Tried this week:

    Roosters - Last Stand.
    Rudgate - Ruby Mild.
    Titanic - Plum Porter.
    Abbeydale - Holy Water.
    Black Hole - Titan.
    Black Hole - Starry Nights.
    Daniel Thwaites - Our Girls.
    Cottage - Concorde.
    Leeds - Gathering Storm.
    Ossett - Silver King.
    Bob's - White Lion.
    Moorhouses - Lap Prancer.
    Acorn - Bravo IPA.
Great Heck - Dark Force Treason.

Good to see Ruby Mild back on form and I rather enjoyed Our Girls, but the Holy Water was in fine fettle at the Brewer's Pride, Ossett. Dangerously drinkable at 6%.

A few interesting ones this week - Dark Star Smoked Porter, Arbor Ales Dana, Hepworth Pullman and Redemption Big Chief were all in the running, but BOTW is going to a collaboration brew between Redemption and Mikkeller called Mild Interpretation.

I was expecting a pint of mild, but it's actually more of an amber ale, packing some seriously impressive malty flavours. If I remember rightly, this is a beer exclusive to the Cask Pub and Kitchen and The Craft Beer Co and if I found myself back in one of these places, I'd most likely give it another go.

We suggested that they should put a picture of the dancer on the clip.

It was also suggested that No. 2 should be called Ola (as in Ola Jordan) as we could probably sell a 9 of that in about an hour.

Phil's reply? "No bloody chance, the wife does the pump clips".

Quite a quiet week for me last week, for a change.

Brightside Best was good in The Flying Horse in Rochdale.

Empire Golden Warrior and Copper Dragon Freddie Trueman were good in The Baum.

But BOTW is going to go to an old favourite that I hadn't found for a while Oakham Citra also tried in The Baum.

A tardy entry thanks to my PC being shipped off to the repair shop twice in 2 weeks. Good job I log everything beer wise in my phone. I wasn't able to steer away from the numerous Xmas beers for this week, most of which are quite bland and dull. I'm gonna opt for a local beer, Thieves and Fakirs from Millis, a brewery that are a bi hit and miss with thier output but this is one of the better ones when kept well.
