    Roger, old boots, trainman and Ray: A belated thank you for all your suggestions. In the end we went to the Philharmonic, as it was just around the corner from the site we were visiting. As it turned out, only had time for a couple of halves and it broke my heart to walk down Hardman Street, past the Fly in the Loaf, Roscoe Head and Dispensary without calling in!

    After I put up loads of pics on my Facebook page a few of my friends have shown some serious interest in making a trip of it themselves so I may make a return visit sooner rather than later - I'll let you know as and when - you'll be welcome to tag along (as will anyone else).
