I can't beieve that on a pub review site the reviewer would get the name of the beer wrong. In Tottingham there is a Footbore team called Tottingham Hotspur. The local Redemption brewery produce a beer called Hopspur, although as the brewery is near the River Lea it is half East London in my book. I suggest a punishment of being made to drink several pints of John Smith's Smooth Crap.
Well spotted Aqualung ! a slight typing error there, have to say what an excellent beer the Redemption Hopspur is. I think your fine of being made to drink even one pint of J Smiths Smooth is quite severe. Cheers RAR.

And then a serving area with lots of pumps dispensing expensive beer, the highlight of which is the quite wonderful beer menu above it in the style of an old Odeon cinema sign, so cluttered and disorganised that to the untrained eye, you have no idea what’s available and what it costs. And you kind of get the feeling that if you have to ask, you’re in the wrong place.
So a fairly soulless place serving fine but expensive beers, why would anyone in the area go there.
Now fortunately I know the answer to that one as I visit the nearby Spitalfields market and laugh at what they are trying to charge for the pretentious modern art crap in there, and also visit the market inside the old Trumans brewery and cry at what they are charging for the old crap that I have thrown out onto skips in recent years in there .
A Brewdog bar in Shoreditch. Yep I certainly get it.
And for the record I too had an excellent half of Dead Pony Club 3.8% costing 2.10 of my hard earned English pounds and sat there sipping it slowly to make it last as long as I humanly could.
