I found it bit tedious and long-winded I'm afraid. It's a bit too like H G Wells for me. I also like the edit facility, facility as as long as you'd spot your mistakes early on and can correct them in good time. But I see there is scope for abuse though.

PSM has a line in his review of The Wheatsheaf which I like:

I remember a Spoons review on the other site comparing it to the Green Room of said show. A review of the Opera House stated that as it was Tunbridge Wells you get a better class of deadbeat.

Soupy can bask in the glory - as I'm going through Nottingham en route to adding my own t'uppence worth 18 months too late, I came across this gem from the Olde Trip to Jerusalem:

with the fondness we have incorrectly using ‘Ye’ for ‘the’ and adding the extra ‘e’ in words to give some sort of pedigree, the old became olde – funny, why didn’t they didn’t stick an ‘e’ on the end of Trip?
