You're right. There are beers from all over the country and even a recommendation for those visiting Corfu.

Sunshine and good beer. I'm very envious and hope that you're having a great time.

I certainly am, but back to the land of rain and warm beer Friday.

    Heritage Brewing Masterpiece IPA

It lives up to the name,it might need another nomination to go in the a&h list but it was a pleasure to drink. It tasted strong, but balanced by a lingering bitter finish to tempt further consumption.

I see these folk at Heritage have recreated Charrington IPA,the very mention of which strikes terror into my heart by reviving memories of mid 70's drinking at my local when this was the only option.Hopefully this modern recreation will be more drinkable.

I've recently enjoyed Long Man's Wild Man,a 5.2%abv seasonal English IPA. The malts used come off the farm where the brewery is based.

I've done the updates below and think that perhaps the list is now almost too long to be manageable. In a way that's top news as it reflects the popularity and widespread availability of some excellent IPA's. On the other hand, what to do about the thread and the list?

Firstly, I'll leave this list up so that anyone can consult it regarding the IPA's that people have enjoyed.

Secondly, and with A&H's permission, perhaps the thread ought to now list only those IPA's which fit into the A&H's F**king Brilliant category.

So over to A&H for thoughts on that and should I open a new thread to list the very quality IPA's?

I think it would be a shame to see the full list come to a halt, especially after all your hard work in maintaining it. Plus, would there be a loss of context to some extent? However, if you want to just to list the FB beers I've no problem with that. I'm not going to claim copyright on what was a simple throw away remark at the time!
