Beer of the Week (w/e 6th November 2011)

Only managed a few leftover beers from the Spoon's festival this week, the best of which was the RCH Firey Liz.

Well no surprise here. I'm going for Green Mill Old Gits.

Light, Hoppy 4.2% and may never be available again unless we can persuade the guys to brew it again.

Crown Loxley Gold & Phoenix Skellington both at The Baum ran it close though.

Pied Bull Black Bull from the Pied Bulls own micro brewery in Chester was good as well.

Thanks for taking me round the brewery in the cellar guys.

Gertie Sweet New World Pale was also a cracking pint in The Mill Hotel in Chester.

Honourable mentions for Buntingford's October and, perhaps surprisingly, Sambrooks Junction, but for me the Dark Star Smoked Porter in the Craft Beer Co. absolutely walked it this week.
