    Tesco currently have Fullers ESB at £3 for two 500ml bottles. Works for me, hic.

    Its "PUBSGALORE". And I know we have to be broad about people's opinions but the only place to sup ale is in the pub!!!!

    No -I live too far out to get to the pub regularily.Also, its too damn expensive.

    Not beer and not in bottles but local Tesco doing Westons Organic Still Cider 7.8% 3litre box for £4.98 its very good and fits nicely in the fridge

    Not strictly a bargain as such, but on reading the Leeds beer blog 'The Good Stuff' just now, I found out that Crouch Vale is the brewery behind M&S' Essex Summer Ale. Leigh the author says he found it more complex and rewarding than the already fabulous 'Brewer's Gold', so he's certainly piqued my interest!

    Thanks! I've always liked Crouch Vale, though at the rate things are going I doubt if I'll see the inside of an M&S until the autumn.
