    Wyre Piddle in the hole £1 a bottle in Booths yesterday, on the other hand the Fullers 1845 was £2.22

    Bottle of St Hellier's cider is selling for.. wait for it... 49p at Netto!!! I bought 20 bottles for just £9.80! Bargain...

    Sadly they are no longer selling for 49p and has reverted to orginal price 99p.

    I say if you can find a Netto it is always worth a look. They often have some interesting beers. Be carefull though of the understrength spirits if you think you have found a bargain bottle of scotch or brandy cause you ain't

    To bring into context, my local Co-op has Old Pec at £2.09 per 500ml bottle

    But is the only source of tins of HSB, at over £5 for 4, pass on that for the time being and get it in the pub

    Hmmm ASDA own Czech Lager? No thanks I'll rather drink proper real ale..

    Surprisingly, plenty of Old Pec and Snecklifter left in Asda when I called yesterday. Splashed out a bit and squirreled it away from the Mrs. Should get me through the 6Nations!

    Just noticed that Old Pec is over a fiver for 4 bottles in packaging, would any one really pay over a quid more, or do they not notice?

    The Snecklifiter here is not a quid, more the 1.50 mark, shame as I fancied trying it out
