Lidl have from today Marston's Pedigree Ashes Ale at 99p a 500ml bottle, 4.1ABV

Asda are selling a decent range of bottled beers at £1 this week.
Apart from their own brand ones (brewed by Shepherd Neame) they also have the offer on :-

Wines still include some ok ones at 3 for £10. An Asda van turned up here today.
My guess is they won't bring it back until they've shifted all that excess Christmas stock. Beers like Spitfire are the sort of thing that relatives think their nearest and dearest will want. Trouble is, even at £1 a pop, they're not shifting at my local branch, unfortunately.
