Just to say thanks for the tip off on the Lidl beers. I paid a visit this morning and bought one of everything I've not had before, plus a handful that they've had previously that I enjoyed and would have again.

Like you, I noticed the extra two that weren't listed on the web site - a nice welcome bonus!

Glad to help. Must be the lockdown but I was quite excited when I saw they were selling them.

You just can't beat 15 different beers for about £22. My local also had King Goblin at £1.49 - a snip for a 6.6% beer.

I'll probably pop in again over the weekend and get a few more.....

I was quite excited myself, which then turned to disappointment when I couldn't find a single one of these beers in my local Lidl. Just as I was in the checkout queue with a few other bits and pieces I glanced over to the door and noticed a big display with the tops of bottles visible poking over the top of it. I went and had a look, risking my position in the queue, and lo and behold they were all there right by the entrance. I must have missed them in making a bee-line for a shopping basket. I was more excited then I should have been to have found them and I left the store a happy man.

Obviously not all the beers are particularly exciting but as most are priced at £1.49 they are good fridge fillers and worth a try. It's sometimes nice to go back to a basic Black Sheep or Shepherd Neame ale after you've had a few days sampling the more funky craft stuff.

Smash and Grab back available on the Vocation website. £3 a tin or £2.55 if you get 48 like me. Best beer I've had this year!

Its not a beer that seems to be sent to the major supermarkets.

Therefore my purchase. It doesn't appear often.

    Black Sheep Pathmaker IPA 5.6%.

4 kiddie cans for £2.99 in Home Bargains.

Simcoe, Chinook & Citra hops says the blurb.

It's not Vocation Pride & Joy, but it's very good for 75p per can.

    I'll be getting some more.

Home Bargains? New to me but is beer a new line for them? I don't see any mention of it online...
The store locator suggests Orpington would be nearest to me down here.

We have two stores in Rochdale, both have always sold beer to my knowledge.
