Rather unfortunate brewery name-the chaps who pump out our septic tank are R&R enviro, and we're not a million miles from Eastry!

If, like me, you're finding it impossible to keep up with all the new breweries springing up across the capital, this is a very handy website:

I saw that recently, it doesn't include the Wanstead Upstart Brewery who do a nice Black Lager. I couldn't find a way of contacting them.

Apparently they are contract brewing outside London while finding a site in E18 (South Woodford) to set up their own brewery. I think their first brews were done in the brewer's garage in Wanstead and sold in a church hall.
I reckon they should be another good one.

I have had Upstart -black lager and was impressed. They cuckoo brew at what was Pitfields brewery now called Dominion and are in Essex so are probably outside the m25 area.I check that site to see if any new brewers are around but London brewers should have a London postcode .Watford is not in my idea of London.
