As York seems to be a favourite location on PuG, a few of you may be interested in The Junction Brewhouse: www.junctionbrewhouse.co.uk Since Al1000 reviewed it purely as a pub, it has installed seven pumps and has a microbrewery on site. Not bang in the centre, but walkable from the train station apparently.

Didn't get there when we visited for the fest recently, but bought the new Real Ale in York book at the fest and the Junction is in there.

Going back to York for the Maltings fest 3 Oct so will look it up as the caravan there for 4 nights.
Junction Brewhouse. Open 3-11 Mon - Thurs, 11-12 Fri - Sat, 12-11 Sun.

    Enterprise Inn free of tie.

Bought a couple of bottles from a new brewery in Kent-Moodleys from Penshurst. Very small scale, and very worthy, but the Original MILD (ABV 4%) has a definite luscious character:I'd like to see it on draught.

Continuing my /our praise for Raw Brewing Co on the BOTW thread, just thought I'd mention them here also.

If their other brews are as good as 'Grey Ghost', they have a very bright future. One to watch.

A new one linked to the Halfpenny micro in Lechlade: www.oldforgebrewery.co.uk

Associated with the Radnor Arms pub in Coleshill and with a nearby cider maker, also part of the Coleshill Estate.

Tyme Mill? They managed to spell that wrongly and, anyway, I believe that's the pub estate, with the brewery being Castle Rock. Not sure the (current) champion brewer will be too pleased with the reportage.

Just to put this into perspective. Thwaites have offered this to just 38 of their > 300 pubs. So don't walk into most Thwaites pubs and expect a wider choice.
