    Not the best planning given that it mostly clashes with 'Spoons fest. There isn't much that would tempt me into a Slug & Lettuce but to be fair, they are trying and I suppose it gives me an excuse to try a couple out although I won't be going too far out of the way for it.

    I may have the ideal solution, come to Southsea, try out the S & L offerings, then stagger next door to sample the JDW ones

    If you are still standing, then the Hole in the Wall is near by, and has accommodation, so you could, if your wallet & liver allow, also have a nightcap in the Barley Mow just over the road

    Popped into Slugs in Clapham last Friday as the gig I went to down the road finished quite early and they had a Festival poster outside. The place was heaving, music was thumping and the hand pumps offerred Pride and Bombardier. Went in the Falcon next door.
